BIO
Reb Reid Scott is a London-based contemporary artist known for her imaginative and unconventional approach. Whilst her work spans painting drawing and textiles, all are alive with both vivid colour and energetic movement that capture the strength and fragility of both human and other organic forms. Reb succeeds in building layers that feel both spontaneous and deliberate. Each work is an exploration of emotion through mark-making — a visual record of energy, memory, and gesture – drawing on the artist’s own personal history.
Her practice often returns to the body: not as a fixed subject, but as a vessel for feeling, connection, and transformation. Textures, stitches, and pigment merge to reveal something intimate yet universal.
Reb’s work has been exhibited and collected nationally and internationally, drawing attention for its expressive energy and distinct visual language. Whether on paper, canvas, or cloth, her compositions speak to the tension between control and instinct, movement and stillness, surface and soul.
